I’m going to use a prompt for my journal entries going forward. I will also be doing two journal entries as well, one in the morning with a journal prompting, then my thoughts at the end of the day.

Today is a little backwards and only one entry, all of my quotes will be from Ceremony, by Brianna Wiest. I discovered her when I was in Baja Mexico at my yoga teacher training retreat, in October of 2022. I have been using her book of inspirational quotes like tarot cards, and flip though the pages until I feel I should stop. Then I read both pages, sometimes the page on the right first, or the left depends on which one calls to me.

Quote Pg 118: “You do not see nature as perfect because it has clean lines, because it obeys everyone’s desires, because it remains placid at all times. You see nature as perfect because of it’s wildness, it’s jagged edges, it’s unwillingness to conform to something other than what it is. You see nature as perfect because you see it’s power and you respect it; it simply does what it’s meant to do, and does not yearn for anything more.”

Quote Pg 119: “You are infinite being existing within a galaxy of infinite potential this is not all there is

Today was all about resting and recovering from an 11 hour day at the hospital yesterday. So naturally nothing else was done, like the laundry and getting the home organized and cleaning in a RV trailer makes things a little more tricky. Lol

Cooked a delicious meal in my Emeril Lagassee french door airfryer, pork loin chops and a Sweet Thai salad kit from H-E-B. But it felt good to have a home cooked meal after the hospital yesterday. I also made sure to get a swim in and move my body, and getting the laundry done, provided me an opportunity to get some more steps in today.

I have been working, exercise into my everyday tasks to help me create a healthier body. What do I mean by that, I could drive to do my laundry, but it’s just down the road, when I go to the store, I always park far away to make sure I’m getting in more steps, and always return the cart! lol

I also work in stretching, no matter if I’m in the car, sitting at the kitchen table or in bed. So many stretches, and exercises that you can do anywhere. Moving my body helps me to keep anxiety, stress, anger, depression, fear based thinking, and emotions calm.
