I’m not really sure what’s next? What to do now? How do I become more than just a beginner? Practice, lots and lots of practice! I’m going to go through having to be really uncomfortable, because I don’t know how, to do all the things I want to be able to do.

If I want to alter my blouse, I can’t just go start doing it. I have to figure out the correct steps to create what I want because it’s all new to me, it’s just like any new job, it takes time to understand in what order things need to happen to get to the desired result. I want to go a hundred miles per hour and start creating a wardrobe I’m excited to get dressed in, but my lack of skills keeps me throttled, at the moment.

It will be interesting to see, where I am with my sewing skills in a few months time, I’m hoping in a place of constant continued progress on altering my clothes and having fun figuring out my style, and what will inspire me as I go along.
