I have been stitching on my bag most of the day today, it always surprises me when I look at it hanging back up. Somehow my brain tells my hands how to stitch these patterns? I have been using only one stitch on this entire bag at this point, but each shape I fill in all look so different.

It seems like all my memories, feelings, exploring creativity, is all coming out in the stitching of this bag. When I’m knotting the thread, finishing up a part of it, usually still not sure why I feel it’s finished? Then I see it hanging up, different perspective, at a distance and then I understand.

Stitching this bag is a true healing journey that’s so much fun to do, self care with sewing. It’s been a wonderful meditating addition to my day, helps me feel more grounded. I am sleeping better, too!

I have been making delicious soup this past week, so good! Medicine in a bowl that is so flavorful and full of so many good veggies. It’s actually cold here tonight in Texas, cold is a nice treat here. So soup today was extra warming. Cooking is a gift that never gets old, grateful!
