I have been practicing forgiveness, forgiving myself, telling myself that I forgive me for any and all things that are tied to an old version of myself that has died long ago.
Forgiving myself for all the things I just didn’t know yet. I was very unhealthy, inside and out. Getting healthy is challenging, I’m talking about whole body healthy, not just losing weight. I have been diving in deep looking at everything I have been hiding away for so long.
As I am facing different challenges along the way, as I work through them, I am getting lighter. My whole body, mind, and spirit is creating space.
I do understand my health is my freedom, and a part of that is loving myself as I am today, not tomorrow sometime in the future, today! Forgiveness is part of my journey to a more authentic self.
Understanding loving yourself means, loving even the not so great parts, too. No exception, you cannot have one without the other! Loving myself into a healthier version everyday.
