I have been looking at all my inventory for sewing projects, I want to be sewing 24/7! This is screaming in my head as I am looking at all my ideas. Problem is I’m still in the beginning phase of figuring out my sewing machine!
Understanding that sewing is 95% prep time and 5% actually sewing on the machine. Learning the basic steps for each new project is a lot, I still love it. I have a sewing class tomorrow, finishing a project. So excited
I’m hoping to get some homework to gain more confident on my machine. I would like to get my courage up to start a few new ideas on my own at home. Looking forward to working my way through the process, and remember that I am a beginner. I need to keep taking steps!
I know that I will continue on down this path I’m currently on, sewing my little heart out, creating things I have always dreamed of. I know practice is key, I need to keep showing up for myself and sew everyday.
Remembering expressing myself creatively is self care too, a gift for me, a beautiful release captured in stitching. It’s fun to see reflections of a life lived in stitching, echos captured.
I love creating, and I am grateful to the new piece of me I have found.
