I enjoy having days that flow, not rushed, allowing alignment to navigate what will fill up my cup, instead of depleting it. I use to do so much busy work that didn’t contribute to my wellness.

I always felt I had to do it all everyday, work, clean, chores and by the end of my day there would be nothing left of me. By the time evening came, I would zone out in front of the TV watching a show that was also sucking up the energy I had left, not even realizing it.

Now when I wake up in the morning, instead of off to the races, I drink my coffee in silence, heaven! That one change completely calmed my nervous system, allowing myself to arrive and greet the day slowly.

Moving slower, not rushing also contributes to a grounded meditative state, emotional regulation, priceless. Being grounded, soft, allowing the alignment, natural flow happen. Each change I have made takes time, intention, that allows me to stay present.

Staying present keeps me whole, embodied, with amazing awareness, which contributes to my mental wellness. Relearning how to live with me at the front of the line, so I have enough overflow, so I can be the giver I enjoy being.

But no longer giving in excess, another big change, so worth it to find boundaries.
