Breaking generational patterns, curses, taking up space! Using my voice, that’s why I started this blog, then moved on to creating social media content, to practice using my voice.

In my family we were told we should be seen not heard! I don’t agree with that, I have been put in a little tiny box all my life, no more! I was always told all my life I was to much, well my light was meant to shine bright, so that’s what I am going to do, take up space, and shine my light!

I know I am not the only woman expected to shrink herself, we have to stop allowing others to cage us in. Using our voice is our God given right, we need more women speaking up for themselves and others.

That’s one of the reasons I entered The Next Runway Star competition, to learn to use my voice, advocate for myself, learn to promote myself in many different positive ways. Walking the runway shining my light, talk about the whole health journey I have been walking down.

I want to inspire others to do the same for themselves, I believe that’s part of my purpose, why God has been leading me down the path. I want to help others learn to love themselves and use their voices! Amen!
