My goal is to reduce my social media consumption, with less distraction I am aware of more, not surprisingly.
I am more aware of being solo, not as comfortable as I thought that I was. Nothing wrong with that, it’s something to look at, understand with love and grace.
I have been noticing that I am little agitated as well, maybe that’s from having the instant gratification social media provides, having to really dive deep into the why of it.
I have been solo for almost ten months now. I am my own best friend, and I do enjoy my own company. There’s times when I do feel that pangs of loneliness, wanting a conversation, connection.
So I find myself getting closer to God and my spirit family, talking to them a lot more. I know this solo time will not last forever, I am soaking it up, learning to appreciate this phase of becoming more myself at my own pace.
I am curious what I will find, learn about me as I allow myself to sit with these feelings that social media has been distracting me from. Maybe I will discover more pieces of myself that fit this ever evolving puzzle of me?
